My soul won't keep secrets..

I held my secret inside of me so no one would find the time to worry..
i told myself to keep quiet and never let them see me bleed..
I didn't want you to know me, now i am open and you see who i am..
my soul cannot keep secrets, and my face is its playmate..
together my soul and body breed, birthing babies full of sadness and moments dark and lonely.. please don't start to worry..

i tried to laugh today, as the tears melted my joy..
I tried to try today, but i was consumed by the noise..

i never meant to bring you here; i don't want you to see..
shut your eyes close your mouth, don't even breathe..
shhhhhh...i will close my wounds, clear the air..
i won't let you witness my secrets; for they come with the burden of having to care..

Just tell your soul to keep this secret and i'll tell mine shut its mouth..
my day will come it always does and we will breed our souls together and i just might let you see me for all that i am not..
